A whole host of stars took part in the game with all the proceeds raised going towards Celtic’s Foundation Programme

JUST a day after Celtic completed the treble in a thrilling Scottish Cup Final, Hoops fans got the chance to see club legend Henrik Larsson notch a first-half hat-trick at Parkhead.

A sell-out 60,000 capacity crowd turned out for today’s charity match, which saw a Henrik’s Heroes side beat a Lubo’s Legends team 5-2.

A whole host of stars including Tom Boyd, Jackie McNamara, Neil Lennon and Tosh McKinlay featured throughout the afternoon.

Lennon may want to forget the game however after being sick on the pitch during play.

In an entertaining match, it was Swedish hero Henrik Larsson who rolled back the years, netting a first-half hat-trick.

Goals from Stiliyan Petrov and Harald Brattbakk had Henrik’s Heroes on easy streak as they raced into a 5-1 lead at the break.

Kris Commons had pulled one back for Lubo’s Legends and captain Lubo Moravcik reduced the deficit further in the second half, but it wasn’t enough.

A parade of the Celtic treble-winners took place before kick-off, with first-team stars Scott Brown, Leigh Griffiths, Kieran Tierney and Patrick Roberts accompanied by boss Brendan Rodgers.
